Insoluble in water, soluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform and other solvents. After heating and dissolving or emulsifying in the surfactant complex, the cooling process will precipitate from the lens-like crystallization, thus producing pearlescent luster. It also has both conditioning, thickening and antistatic effects. It was prepared by melting stearic acid and adding ethylene glycol and sodium hydroxide for enzymatic reaction.
